Hey, I’m Jess. I’m born and raised just south of Salt Lake City, UT. I’m a marketer, film photographer and blogger pursuing a more creative + intentional life. I am happiest when I’m outdoors or exploring NYC (who knew you could love both so much). I love taking beautiful photographs of places I travel and people I meet. Nothing beats getting film scans delivered to your inbox! I brush my hair about 2 out of the 7 days in a week. I have seen The Office more times than I can count and love to sit down and read the same two books over and over. I created this blog to share my hobbies, the things that excite me, and to challenge myself to create MORE. I am addicted to booking flights, online shopping and Dr. Pepper. I enjoy discovering new brands that are sustainable and sharing them in hopes of helping others be more environmentally conscious. I have BIG dreams that absolutely frighten me and am working each day to make those a reality. I graduated with a degree in communications focusing on public relations but my love for building a brand’s presence and photography led me to a career that I LOVE.
My education combined with my passions turned my professional path in the direction of social media strategy and content creation for businesses big and small. It’s been a dream working alongside AMAZING people and learning from them, as well as helping brands build their voice online. I hope one day to be a source to educate entrepreneurs in their social/marketing efforts.
Though I am a full-time marketer, I love to photograph families + couples in a raw, authentic way. I am flustered sometimes at the amount I’m trying to do, but I don’t want to limit this space to just travel posts or just client shoots. I want this space to be a direct reflection of my heart and what makes it happy.
